Exodus: Draikel was very young but full of promise when he joined Naggaroth's forces as a Dark Rider. Riding on a dark steed he reigned destruction among the Druchii's enemies and had many years acting as a dread herald of the dark elf armies. While Draikel was abroad at war his family, House Kyaithen, a small but powerful house, was not without enemies. Most of the House's troops were off to war when another house had decided to take advantage of the weakness. the members of House Kyaithen residing in Naggarond was wiped out over night with the careful treachery of poisons and assassins. Upon his return from the theater of war, Draikel was to be enslaved.
Before he could be acquainted with the lash, a mysterious spellcaster known to Draikel only as the Lady, started to free the slaves and lead them out of the city. Draikel and other surviving soldiers of his house used the confusion as distraction and managed to escape from his captures. Stealing back his weapons and horses, he and his men took a gamble and attempted to ally with the mysterious "Lady". Fearing her power, Draikel ordered his brethren to be 'kind' to their new allies and agreed to safeguard them on their exodus. When the Lady founded her village, Draikel and his Druchii brethren became its protectors.
Over the centuries horse breeding, jungle scouting, and Lizardmen slaying were the only thing to break the dull mind-numbing peace of the village and over time, the dark elves learned to not hate the village...as much. Draikel became an elder of the village, in charge of the defense of the village... as the nativity of enlightenment could prove dangerous...in a world alien to such concepts.
